Tinda has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) — including any content or behavior that sexually exploits, abuses, or endangers a child, such as grooming, sextortion, trafficking, or child sexual abuse material (CSAM). This page publishes Tinda's standards, moderation practices, and reporting channels for CSAE prevention, and is referenced from Tinda's Google Play Store listing.
Tinda is an 18+ dating service. Every account must provide a date of birth at sign-up, and Tinda's systems enforce a minimum age of 18 before an account can be created or used. Members can additionally request a "Verified" badge, which requires submitting a government ID and a guided selfie for review by a human member of our team — a further check against a false birth date, though it is optional rather than mandatory for every account. If we become aware that an account belongs to someone under 18, we remove it immediately.
The following are never allowed on Tinda, without exception:
These are enforced under Tinda's Terms of Use in addition to this policy, and apply regardless of whether the account in question actually belongs to a minor — the standards apply to any content or behavior that implicates or endangers a child.
You never need to leave the app to report a child safety concern:
Reports involving suspected CSAE are treated as our highest priority. When we receive one, or otherwise become aware of a violation:
Tinda complies with applicable child safety laws and regulations in the jurisdictions where it operates, and cooperates with law enforcement investigations into CSAE consistent with those laws. See also our Privacy Policy for how account and report data is handled, and our Children's Privacy section for how we handle personal information relating to minors.
Tinda's Trust & Safety team is designated to speak to our CSAM prevention practices and compliance with this policy, including to Google Play's own compliance team on request.
